Milk Paints produce a soft flat soothing appearance.  A distinct look very difficult to replicate using regular paints.  A milk paint finish is susceptible to water spots and staining. Unprotected it may be difficult to keep clean but the patina will continue to age and deepen over time.  For high use items we recommend using the antiquing glaze over the milk paint to add protection and to make cleaning easier.

Although the Olde Century Colors Milk paint is a simulated milk paint it provides all the same qualities without the mess of mixing your own paint and it has a shelf life similar to regular latex paints.
